Listed below are applicable policies regarding magazine fulfillment,
cancellation guidelines, check policies, how address changes affect subscription
delivery and other general information.
How long does it take for delivery of the
magazines?
As stated on the customer receipt, magazines can
take 90-120 days for delivery, depending on the publisher shipping schedule.
This is generally because the publisher pre-print their shipping labels up
to two issues in advance. There is also 30 days of in-house processing
before the magazines are sent for fulfillment to allow for any changes to
accounts.
What if I have an address change?
Click here to
submit an address change online. Any changes in the subscription
information can also be directed in writing to Direct Subscription Services,
Inc, c/o Customer Service, PO Box 1949, Pilot Point, TX 76258. For
processing expedience, please include a copy of the customer's receipt with
any correspondence.
To whom do I write my check?
Checks should be made payable to Direct
Subscription Services, Inc.
What is the DSS, Inc check policy?
In the unlikely event that your check is
returned for Insufficient or Held Funds, we will debit your checking account
electronically for the face amount of the check plus the fee
listed below ($30.00). This policy allows us to resolve the problem without
turning you over to a collection agency and harming your credit rating. The
transaction will appear on your bank statement and no one will have to
contact you about payment. We prosecute closed accounts and other
fraud!!
Who determines the price of the
subscriptions?
The individual publishers set the subscription
prices. Our company has no say in the cost of any subscription.
What is the processing fee for?
The processing fee is added to the subscription
price for each order. It covers the cost of shipping the order and the
handling involved with processing subscriptions.
Can I cancel my order at any time?
No. Subscriptions may be cancelled up to
midnight of the third business day following the date of purchase.
After this, no cancellations may be made. (See
cancellation guidelines directly below.)
To cancel a subscription, sign and date one
copy of the cancellation form.

Make sure the envelope is post-marked before
midnight
of the third business day after the contract date.
(Saturday is considered a
business day,
Sundays and federal holidays are not.)
Because
proof of the mailing date and proof of receipt are important, consider
sending the cancellation form by certified mail so you can get a return
receipt. Keep the other copy of the cancellation form for your records.
Cancellations will also be accepted via fax to 940-687-8918. A front
and back copyof the receipt should be provided. Fax signature
date is the official date of cancellation request. Please keep a copy
of your fax confirmation sheet for your records as proof of request.
No verbal
cancellations will be recognized. For the consumer's
protection, no email cancellations will be accepted . If
the seller did not give cancellation forms, you can write your own
cancellation letter. It must be post-marked within three business days
of the sale.
A stop payment placed on your check will
NOT
act as a notice of cancellation.
Only a written notice of cancellation postmarked or faxed within three
business days after the date of the sale will legally cancel your
transaction, enabling you for a refund.
You do not
have to give a reason for canceling your purchase. You have a right to
change your mind.
Please refer

Please be advised that this change may delay delivery of the magazine (s) by
10 - 12 weeks as the publishers pre-print their shipping labels one to two
issues in advance of shipping.

SPECIAL NOTE:
Please update your address
with the
U.S. Postal Service. The
address for delivery of the magazine has to match the USPS current address on
file for the magazine to be delivered. There are no exceptions, and DSS will not be held responsible for address problems with USPS.
